About

I’m a video editor and motion designer, and I like figuring out how all the pieces of a project come together to tell a good story.

Most of my work happens in the edit. I enjoy taking hours of footage, interviews, music, graphics, and ideas and finding the moments, patterns, and visual language that make a piece work. I also love motion design because it gives me another way to communicate an idea when words and footage aren't quite enough.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with nonprofits, advertising agencies, and production studios on everything from documentary and branded content to testimonials, live events, and long-form interviews. I’ve also spent plenty of time on the production side, which has given me a broader perspective on how to make a project work from beginning to end.

I care about making things that are clear, engaging, and purposeful, but I also care about the people I get to work with along the way. The best projects, in my experience, come from good collaboration, thoughtful feedback, and a willingness to keep working until the piece is right.
